| OOC: The country shall henceforth be known as "Brmenistan'ın Sonsuz Sultanlığı (Eternal Sultanate of Barmenia)" IC: WE, ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES OF BARMENIA, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM - AS OUR SOVEREIGN: HIS EXCELLENCY, SÜLEYMAN OF CLAN ASLAN-MEDE. WE SHALL REMAIN HIS LOYAL SUBJECTS, AS LONG AS HE AND HIS DESCENDANTS PROTECTS OUR LIBERTIES AND LIBERAL DEMOCRACY. SO HELP US GOD. We have agreed on the following basic laws, governing the Eternal Sultanate: I. The Eternal Sultanate shall be passed down among the direct descendants of Süleyman the Liberator through cognatic primogeniture (equal inheritance for sons and daughters). They shall be known and officially recognized as the "Aslan-Mede" Clan. II. The Sultan or Sultana must be a believing Ahmadi of the Nkaia (Felinist) Madhab (school of law), also known as the Ahmadi-Felinist Faith. He or she shall respect the liberal traditions of the Barmenian people, and give preferential treatment to none of the religious or ethnic groups. III. The Consort(s) of the Sultan(a) may follow whichever religion they want, or none at all. They may be blood-related if the Sultan(a) wishes to honour this ancient Barmenian Tradition. IV. The name of the nation - known as "Brmenistan" in Barmenian Turjakic, may be either translated as "Barmenia" or "Barmenistan" in Luthorian, depending on the translators wishes.
