Voting deadline: September 4205
Description[?]:
In my capacity as President of the Commonwealth, I nominate the following exemplary individuals to take their seats in Rutania's Senate. I have carefully considered the current composition of the Senate, the results of the previous election and the pressing current and future needs of our nation. Our proposed slate firstly was allocated to the party which won the plurality of the state, in doing so this slate will also see the introduction of the Eco-Socialists, Conservatives, and Libertarians to the Senate. While in the short history of the Senate it has been unorthodox for the President to appoint a majority slate to members of their own party, I feel exceptionally compelled given the clear majorities in each of Bozarland, Kagrusrov and Khodor. Ardinia Mr Greg Thompson (Conservative Party, age 52 (90 in 4241) Bozarland Ms. Viola Berry (the Eco-Socialists), of Karlsdorf, Age: 51 (90 in 4242) Delvar Ms. Lydia Weld (Libertarian), of Floral, Age: 60 (90 in 4234) Khodor Ms. Ingrid Mwangi (Civic Republican League of Rutania), of Vanderburg, age: 56 (90 in 4238) Kragusrov Ms. Lucia Edwards (the Eco-Socialists), of Huygens, Age: 54 (90 in 4239) --President Adrienne Moran |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I rise to support this proposed slate of candidates. Undoubtedly, our comrades in government and our colleagues in the Whigs may feel left out. However, this slate represents an important reflection of both the popular will, and the introduction of three new parties to the Senate. Particularly, the Eco-Socialists, will gain 3/10 seats - which in fact is an under representation of the will of Rutanians. We hope our progressive friends particularly, who all our currently represented in the Senate, will support this slate and recognize the good will we can build in the future - particularly in our clear majority in both houses. Gabriel Nadal-Wood Co-Spokesperson of the Eco-Socialists |

Message | The Whig Party will not support the induction of 3 radical, far left nominees of the Eco-Socialist Movement to be appointed by President Moran. We agree with the idea that the Conservative and Libertarian Party be inducted into the senate however we find it silly that the President thinks women should be put in those seats, more identity politics from the far-left. We in the Whig caucus would prefer the President select more moderate members from the governing coalition of parties to fill 2 of the seats that the President would prefer to give to radicals from within the Eco-Socialist Movement. We will not support the slate as is. --Elmer Clark Former President Whig Party Chairman |

Message | The Whig party shall continue to oppose unless two of the nominees are from the CRL while still giving two seats to the opposition, the governing coalition could not exist without the moderate CRL and we will not accept domination but the far leftist in the Senate. |
