Bill: Citizenship Reform Act of April 4205

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Triumph

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4205

Description[?]:

To allow people citizenship of both our great nation and of another is a shocking betrayal to those of us who truly do love our country.

Citizenship of the Holy Luthori Empire is a privilege - not a right, and as such we must ensure that all citizens are loyal only to this state and not to any other.

Therefore, it would be effectively useless to ask these foreign nationals who have dual citizenship to rescind their allegiances and all ties to the foreign nation, as they will surely still harbour affections for the aforementioned foreign nation. Needless to say, foreign nationals who rescind their past ties immediately upon entering our country shall always be welcome, provided they share a similar ethnic and cultural heritage.

It is a logical consequence that we must therefore imprison foreign nationals who share dual citizenship as, if we allow them to continue exist in society as they do now, they will inevitably betray the state and rebel against the government.

We cannot allow this to happen.

Anyone who shares as much love for this great country as New Triumph does will join us in this bold move to reclaim our country, and preserve and protect the cultural and ethnic purity of this nation.
