Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4206
Description[?]:
Speaker, We must give criminals the chance to work towards a better future for themselves by allowing them to work for a small financial compensation in order to build up funds that they can use after their release to live a life without crime. Releasing these criminals into the world without any money will only motivate them to go back to crime to earn their money that way, the way that we punished them for. |

Message | Speaker, This is a matter of basic fairness. Most of us have to work in order to sustain ourselves. Why should prisoners be any different? While the Dorvish working class often fails to save money, convicted criminals shall march out of prison with a pile of cash? No! Wilhelm von Stahlstein, minister of Justice |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
