Bill: Justice System Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Party of Endralon
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4206
Description[?]:
We think that our justice system is in dire need of a revision. These proposals would benfit the nation and its citizens. This is especially true regarding the death penalty. The NRA voted against the withdrawal from the "Life for Everyone" treaty, which leads us to beleive that they do want everyone to live. Furthermore they did not make any attempt to change the law that goes like this: "Extradition to nations with capital punishment or with cruel or inhumane treatment of suspects and convicts is not allowed." which leads us to beleive that they do not want to extradite someine who might face the death penalty. On these grounds the NRA should support our goal, which is to repeal the death penalty - if not, it would show an inconsistent opinion and policy making. If this Bill gets refused because of the other Articles we will propose it again just with the Article about capital punishment. |
