Bill: Private Stimulus Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Whig Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4206

Description[?]:

The free market must be given room to breathe, we can never expect to see a day where Rutania has a flourishing free market again if the government maintains policies that explicitly limit and restrict the expansion and success of Free Enterprise. We ask the Peoples Assembly to stand with us and lift the burden of over-regulation

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Whigs claim to want to build a free market, and yet are pushing for changes to our anti-monopoly laws that would do the exact opposite of freeing the markets.

Mr. Speaker, it begs that question: is it the free market the Whigs want, or crony corporate capitalism to the benefit of their well connected friends?

Message"Freedom and Prosperity is what the Whig Party wants and that is something we seek for all Rutania, my colleague Mr. Nadal-Wood makes a somewhat valid point, this bill would free up the market a bit more however the bill doesn't specify which sectors monopolies would be forbidden in, we shall introduce separate legislation to do so.
