Bill: Prisoners of war regulation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hobrazian Peoples Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2189
Description[?]:
This is to prevent international law to have a saying on national law. We see no need to follow international law when the hobrazian law apply for these situations. Prisoners of war should be treated according to the law of Hobrazia. If we are the captor power and we provide facilities etc. for the prisoners, it should be our own law that decide how to treat prisoners of war. |
Proposals

Old value:: Prisoners of war must be treated well, according to internationally-accepted standards.
Current: Prisoners of war must be treated well, according to internationally-accepted standards.

Message | We have more chance of garnering international support, should any event occur that we hold or an enemy nation holds, prisoners if we follow international guidelines and they executed our prisoners, especially if they were the aggressors. The political capital in that almost makes an international incident worth it... |
