Details
Submitted by[?]: We Say So! Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2186
Description[?]:
As firearm ownership for the general public is illegal, the use of standard issue firearms within the Police Force sets a poor precedent. Accepting this, Police Officers will be provided with non-lethal weapons with which to carry out their day-to-day duties whilst the provision, should they be required, of specialist Armed Response Units will be maintained. These Units will have increased training in the intricacies of firearm use so as to guarantee the safety of the Officers and the Public. Non-lethal weapons provided to Police Officers include, but are not limited to: - Truncheon, - Pepper Spray, - High intensity mag-light. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
