Bill: Legislative Streamlining Act of December 4209
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Triumph
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 4210
Description[?]:
We must act to streamline government and to ensure that politicians are further held accountable for their actions as law-makers. This means cutting down on the number of people currently serving in the Patriots' House. By significantly cutting down on the number of serving members, we are forcing them to take genuine concern for their constituents, and to make a greater effort to represent the interests of their constituents at the local level in our national legislative body, lest they risk suffering defeat in the following election. This measure also acts to combat so-called career politicians, who - once elected - simply do nothing and, as a result, the working classes suffer right across our great nation. |
