Bill: Rehabilitation act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party (SDP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4211

Description[?]:

People in jail should be encouraged to rehabilitate again in to the society. But that's a two way street. We should help them by giving them courses and by giving them their voting rights back as soon as they stay out of trouble for a while.

MessageThis is bad. We cannot allow this to happen. Voting is a privelage that criminals will loose. Prison is punishing not about education.

MessageThat's why we propose that ex criminals get their right to vote back when they stay out of trouble. Also should we help them to find a job when getting out of prison. Everyone deserves a second chance

MessageBy giving them education we can help them get a job (so we get tax revenues from them) and help them rehabilitate

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
