Bill: Social Liberty Under Restriction, Public Etiquette and Decency (SLURPED) Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Cosmopolitan Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 4217

Description[?]:

(Proposal quota met already; will add articles next month) The Cosmopolitan Party is all for social liberty and freedom, however when the nation's laws intrude upon the bare minimum of decency, changes must be made. I think you will find that although these regulate social liberty, they are reasonable demands.

First, public nudity should be disallowed. It should only exist in specifically allocated areas.
Second, there needs to be some regulation of public displays of affection. Sexual intercourse will be outlawed in public.
Third, the pornography industry will be further regulated. Currently all porn is legal but we seek that only consensual porn be made available
Fourth, the act of dueling is to be made illegal. The legality of this archaic form of settling arguments is currently a local government decision.
