Bill: Personal Allowance Act of March 4212

Details

Submitted by[?]: Konservative Unionistische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4212

Description[?]:

The Konservative Partei propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Bundesrepublik Narikaton und Darnussia. As the government have taken no steps to reduce inequalities and help the less well off, we the largest opposition party have taken it upon ourselves to pursue injustices, and thus to end income tax all together for those earning less than 5000 RUPANs per annum. This shows the conservative commitment to a fairer society with equal opportunities.

This proposal also acts as an alternative to the governments income tax proposal that for some increases taxes paid by 400%. The Liberal Demoxrats have declared this to be "good for the poor." We urge them and all to support this motion instead. We wish to be a low tax economy, but not a tax haven off the shores of Artania.

MessageThis is a wonderful suggestion -- if it can be balanced with increases for the rich in a roughly equal level. This ensures we will not increase the defecit.

Random fact: Real-life organisations should not be referenced in Particracy, unless they are simple and generic (eg. "National Organisation for Women" is allowed).
