Bill: Mandatory civil service act 4212

Details

Submitted by[?]: Metzian Party of Lodamun

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4213

Description[?]:

The ministry of internal affairs suggests instead of mandatory military service after completion of adulthood, to give them a choice to choose between military and other national services. This provides a sense of choice and recognition of future opportunities for them. Work can only be satisfying if everyone worked where they excel. Let mandatory national service give them such a chance.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The New Green Party of Lodamun will support this bill. Though we would rather it not be mandatory, the sense of choice this bill states would give the people some freedom on how they would have to serve the country and we agree with that.

Montil Moray,
NGPoL Chairman

MessageMr. Speaker,

The progressive centre party will not support this bill. Although the amendment is an improvement to the current law we are opposed to any kind of mandatory national service and will therefore oppose this bill.

Simon Morton,
The progressive centre party candidate for Internal Affairs
