Description[?]:
It is my great honour to appoint Labour Party presidential candidate, former Vice President and Minister of Defense Brian Proctor. As Vice President for 4 years, he has shown that he has been capable of working with the Cabinet and both sides of the aisle to pass common sense local legislation for his people and that he is able to be a populist who appeals to a wide range of political ideologies, from social conservatives to communists. As Minister of Defense, he has also shown these attributes and has been able to show that he cares for the security of this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. He has passed through a significant defense reform package, where Defense spending has been increased radically and new technology being introduced to better prepare ourselves for future wars. And during his Presidential campaign, although he didn't win, he again showed all the attributes that made us appoint him 21 years ago. We need someone that can unite the nation after the incompetence of this NPP administration and that is why I proudly ask Parliament to vote for Mr Proctor. |

Message | We hope that we can work well together to pass common sense socialist legislation for the people of Beluzia and to attract conservatives to vote for us, which currently stands at 25% for BRRP support. Overall, we attracted 35% of all conservative voters. This shows that we are able to make inroads with our populist message. We must carry on with this positive message if we want to be reelected for a second term and beyond President Marie-Anne Smith |
