Camilla Fiorienti, leader of LP:

"we think that the GM crops are not the demons the Greens claim. There are no scientific studies, despite their statements, about proven harmful effects, but it is a great achievement of the human technology! We will propose this bill again because we are convinced of the goodness of the GM crops to increase productivity and aid our farmers.

Thank you"

"Last time there were also other proposals, PDI thinks on nuclear power is better this option, on GMs we would prefer a no-policy, because there are not sufficient studies on that. And Miss Fiorenti said that nuclear power plants will be inactivated after we find a way to replace them. Seen this, I think in a near future we will have a country based on green energy without damaging the economy, because if we close now nuclear plants we will lose a lot of jobs and stop the economy. In this way we will have the time to manage in the best way the denuclearization of Istalia."

"Colleagues,
with P.d.l. 07/4213 we vote for "Production and selling of GM crops is banned. Research is allowed" bill and "Nuclear power plants are not permitted". You are fooling our intelligence and that of citizens with these statements. We will decide in an urgent meeting whether to support this government again"

"Collegues,
I would like invite you to a table to debate about the nuclear energy. Currently our nation uses a lot the nuclear energy, until the last century the nation required most of energy products through Nuclear and also incouraged it.
So, shut down now the nuclear plants will represent for us a clear damage: we have not the possibility to replace it with renouvable form! (OOC: it is simply unrealistic do something like that). If you want shot down now the nuclear power plant, we should build power plant based on natural gas, oil or worste, carbon! So, what is for you worste: nuclear energy or high emission of gas? We can also start to invest all our GDP to the research and development of new form of green energy, but with difficult today we will be able to replace totaly the current nuclear power plants.
So, what is the solution of the Environmentalist and of NS to replace the nuclear plant? It could be not better a programmed path? An agreement to exit progressively by the nuclear energy?"

"The Confederazione Capitalista will strongly support this piece of legislation when it comes up for a vote. We believe that nuclear power is safe and worthwhile, and that all forms of genetically-modified foods - which benefit consumers, ultimately, deserve to be utilized, lest we fall behind the times."

"Colleghi,

"Colleagues,
The nuclear decommissioning law envisages a gradual abolition of power plants through a series of actions capable of making the country's energy policy totally free from nuclear production over the next 30 years. The law provides for a yearly withdrawal, from electricity bills, for financial investments in wind, solar and hydroelectric while additional funds will be taken from one of the fuel excisits that already exist for a campaign to reduce energy consumption in public places And in private homes. Thus, in the space of 30/35 years, a smaller national energy consumption is linked to renewable sources and the total dismantling of nuclear power plants. This is the plan, if we only have to think about the private interests of the private, we are not and will never be there. "

MessageCamilla Fiorente:

"We don't think that the renouvable energies will be able to satisfy the national demand, which is also increasing, and so many energetic companies will be forced to introduce also the use of fossil resourse, like the natural gas power station.
I don't know if the emission of CO2 and other nocive gas will benefits of this ban of the nuclear energy which I would like remember that does not generate emission which can affect the atmosphere.
We are very sceptic about the forescasts made by PASI and we cannot accept the introduction of power plants based on oil or worse on charbon.
We demand so a national program to:
Do not allow the construction of oil or charbon power plants.
Encouraging the construction of Natural Liquid Gas power plant utilizing cimbined cycle.
Establish a Smart national grid energy storage
Subsidies the research in Green energy technology.
The nyclear power plants will remain active until the end of their life and if possible their life will be also prolonged (in respecting obviously the security laws).
Assure tax relief to those which would like instal renouvable energy production system for private homes as well as industrial and commercial buildings.
Given the increase of the gas power plants, we ask that they will be used also for distric heating exploiting the wast heat.
Funding the search of a Integrated Solar Combined Cycle system (like this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archimede_combined_cycle_power_plant)

We warn you: the greenhouse emissions will increase in the next years. The nucleae energy doesn't generate similar emissions.
And about the nuclear waste, do you really think that their management is less problematic then tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere?
