| Fiilippo Marra, President of the Republic: "Hon. MPs, I would like propose you to open a debate on the status of the National School Internet Service, the service which offer since decades free and sure internet access to the school and an educational network for support lessons, researchs, multimedial activities, etc... (Something like this: https://www.swisscom.ch/en/about/medien/news/15-years-internet-for-schools.html) The services offered by Decima Tecnology for decades is becoming today not anymore able to respond to the needs of today. For this reason I propose you a plan of 500 million of LIS to open a call for public tender to renew the National School Internet Service and also another to renew the hardware tools into our schools. The web platform/backbone network will be in fact assigned to a company while for the hardware equipement will be chosen another company. For the internet access instead (peoviders of the connection), currently is duty of the municipal authority to establish deals for the internet access into the schools, a system not omogeneus which is generating disparity and inefficiency. So I would like also propose to launch an official study and analysis to develop solution and legislation which could regulate and enhance this issue. I hope also that in the future the nation will be able to improve the usenof the informatic tools into the school, I hope after the crisis we will be able to arrive also to an ambitious project which I woul like "One student, one tablet".
