Bill: Religious Salvation Bill 4218
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4219
Description[?]:
It is my true belief that if we do not start to remove the restrictions inhibiting the freedom of religion then this country will become a moral cesspit. We understand there are hard core secular communities in places like Terrarokka but in Lindar Valley and other god-fearing Hosian states we want to have more say over religion. In addition, the over-regulation of Hosian religious schools is oppressive and particularly ironic as we give a free rein to overseas missionaries to come here in their thousands and spout whatever they want to without the same kind of restrictions. This bill reflects those concerns and will help to bring salvation to our country. Clement S. Carmichael Congressman for Castella North, Lindar Valley. |

Message | To have a lack of faith is your prerogative but to come to this House and think to speak on behalf of humankind and declare 'there is no god' is beyond arrogance. Then again, how could you justify the barbaric slaughter of innocent, unborn children on a mass scale if you had not already totally dismissed the moral teachings first introduced to us by religion out of hand!
