Message | A national fire department will not be able to respond to all fires that occur in this nation. Think about it. It will take a long time for our hardworking firefighters to go from Fort Thorne HQ to Fort Bailon to fight fires. They will have to take a ferry across to the island and by the time they reach the location of the fire, many will have perished. We are proud that Congress has been able to work together to pass this common sense legislation |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
Random quote: "Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners." - Edward Abbey |
