MessageWe support Article 1 and suggest an additional article be added to allow foreign investors to freely invest in national companies.

We will not support Article 2 regarding positive discrimination, however. We feel it is important that the government reduce red tape on industry and maintaining the status quo (i.e. not regulating hiring policies) achieves this.

MessageWe think all discrimination is wrong, and therefore we would like to see the end of it. Masking discrimination by calling something 'positive' does not make it right. We believe in equality so we would like to keep article 2 in this bill.

MessageUnfortunately we will not accept Article 2. Regardless the merits or otherwise of positive discrimination policies, our party feels that it is not in the interests of government to interfere in the free market.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
