Description[?]:

---HISTORY OF TRIGUNIA---
Trigunia was originally founded as a colony of Greater Hulstria, at one time accounting for nearly ten percent of the Hulstrain Empire’s collective population. In the early 2500's, thousands of Hulstrians emmigrated from Hulstria to Trigunia during the reign of Tsar Aleksandr I, who promised favourable business terms to the foreigners in the hope they would bring skills to his country. Since then Hulstrians living in Trigunia have experienced the same trials of Communism and Republicanism that Trigunia has faced, however they have managed to keep a strong ethnic identity but without alienating themselves from Trigunain society at large. Hulstrians historically fill skilled positions in Trigunian society with many being doctors, lawyers, and holding high level military positions. After the desolation of Greater Hulstria (who ruled over Trigunia for some time), Trigunia saw a series of internal uprising and revolutions and is known for being the birthplace of Vladimir Leonid. Most notably the communist uprising that resulted in what was known as the Union of Kerisian Socialist Republics. Trigunia has seen her share of revolutions and political changes, from being a socialist state, to a democratic state and to a monarchist state. Trigunia has been a leading nation since its foundation and has contributed numerous times to the world stage.

---DEMOGRAPHICS OF TRIGUNIA---
Trigunia is a somewhat ethnically diverse nation in the northern hemisphere. Traditionally, the most significant minority populations, the Kozaks and Hulstrians have enjoyed a degree of self-government.

Demographic breakdown:
» Rodshyan (Russian)- 72%
» Kozak (Ukrainian)- 11%
» Hulstrian (Austrian)- 9%
» Majatran (Arab)- 2%
» Dolgavan (Latvian)- 2%
» Kizenian (Romanian)- 2%
» Valruzian (Polish)- 1%
» Other- 1%

--LANGUAGE IN TRIGUNIA--
The primary official national language is Rodshya (Russian) but the significant minorities speak Koazkian (Ukrainian) and Dundorfian (German) thus they would be acceptable in regional politics or political parties where minority rights or regional minority rights are prominent.

RELIGIOUS COMPOSITION
Religion plays a very important role in politics and in everyday life Trigunia. Although the times have changed from the folk dances of the northern tribes, and of the Kozaks, the nation and its people hold many religious values to heart. Trigunia is known for supporting any given religion once it is in the interest of the people, but there is a special relationship between the people of Trigunia and the Terran Patriarchal Church. The Apostolic Church of the East, although it holds a minor number of followers among the population, there are several government and military officers who identify themselves as Eastern Hosians. Although it holds a very small percent of followers among the population, Israism in Trigunia usually attracts those who wish not to be gripped onto the distortions of the world.

» Hosianism (Christianity)- 80%
--Terran Patriarchal Church (Eastern Orthodox with aspects of Slavic mythology)- 61%
--Apostolic Church of the East (Oriental Orthodox)- 29%
--Aurorian Patriarchal Church (Catholicism)- 10%
» Ahmadism (Islam)- 10%
--Israism (Sunni)- 92%
--Sahabism (Sufism)- 8%
» Dievism (Dievturība)- 4%
» None/Atheism- 3%
» Other- 3%

--NAMING IN TRIGUNIA--

Most characters would have from Rodshyan (Russian), a significant minority would next be from the Kozak (Ukrainian) and Hulstrian (Austrian) groups. Names from Trigunia’s other minority groups are acceptable but would rare and likely not to come up in very mainstream politics. Regarding traditional Russian naming conventions, it is advised that players use ‘FIRST NAME’ ‘SURNAME’ and exclude the Patronymic name. Additional information about Russian naming customs can be found on the Fantasy Name Generator website (link below).

As per the game rules, party names may be in English but it is suggested that they are translated into Russian. If Russian is used then it should be transliterated from the Cyrillic alphabet to ensure consistency among players.
