| The LGBT rights act that passed a few months ago made the government subsidize gender reassignment surgery (GRS) for low-income earners. This bill aims to set clear guidelines on when the government will subsidize your surgery and when not. Article 1. Before government-subsidized gender reassignment surgery, the patient must receive documents from a psychologist or psychiatrist that confirm that he does not feel comfortable with his physical gender. Article 2. Gender reassignment surgery can only be executed by doctors with special government certification. Article 3. The patient's legal gender will also change after GRS. Article 4. When just changing the legal gender of yourself and not going through GRS, you must also provide documents by a psychologist. If this bill passes the Federal Assembly with a simple majority it will go into effect. This bill could also be repealed later with a simple majority vote. |

However, we are opposed to any legal changes of somebody's gender and surgically changing someone's gender. we see this as anti-science and anti-progress, we also fear that this undermines all the rights that women one spot for considering that gender would then at that point be malleable.
