Bill: Civil Liberties Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Baltusia Parliamentary Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4224
Description[?]:
The BPP is committed to personal liberty, privacy and civil rights. We believe that these help to ensure that individuals are able to exercise their own choices and that the state acts fairly. As a party, which respects the rule of law, we know how important it is to ensure civil liberties are protected. Demanding that all citizens be issued with an identity card undermines the citizen's right to privacy. As such, the BPP proposes amending the Bill to remove the requirement for citizens to carry such cards 'at all times'. Charlie Parnell, Baltusia Parliamentary Party Home Office Spokesperson |
