MessageMr Speaker,

This bill does nothing more than create a state enforced private monopoly which will render even the mediocre ability for the public to alter corporate systems in the market, choosing another train company, completely void. Effectively this move leaves customers completely at the whims of a profit orientated organisation that without competition will have no incentive to improve service and every incentive to raise prices as high as they can with no chance of being undercut.
