Bill: Fixing the Minimum Wage
Details
Submitted by[?]: Natural Law Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4225
Description[?]:
Our current minimum wage here in Aloria assumes that workers will be at such a stage for their entire lives, which is untrue. If anything, our minimum wage should really only be built to support one individual so that they can then be able to not only survive, but then also gain an education after which they can leave the stage. However, having a higher minimum wage like the one we have now incentivizes them to have a family (since they can afford one) with several children, even though it would be best for them to wait until they have a better job as mentioned above. |
