| Message | Mr President, May I first congratulate you on a stunning victory. With more than 70 per cent of votes cast for your presidency and over 500 seats and all five state governorships won by the Centrist Alliance, it demonstrates - once and for all - that the Left Bloc's insistence in pursuing an ultra-nationalisation agenda is deeply flawed and will not wash with the electorate. That said, I, Patriotic Party Leader Randolph Gilbert look to continue in the role as Majority Speaker of the House and will work to ensure government policy is passed here. But even so we need an effective opposition as part of our democratic process and also ask the RAC Party as the largest party in the Left Bloc Caucus to name a Minority Speaker who will engage with Congress, scrutinise policy proposals, hold government officials to account and represent the minority of people who voted for an alternative to this government.
