Message | Harun Al-Sahel, Whip of LP: "Mr Conti, I will begin to talk about the closed, union and open shops: we conaider extremely unfair run an activity where to can work the employees are obliged to join the union or to pay to maintain their position. And we think that such a activities are really unfair for all the workers. About the child labour, (OOC: as explained me by the mods), "child" means minor, so all the youngs under 18 are excluded by the work world. We introduced the current legislation with this statutory text: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=508802 created to regulate the matter but first of all to protect the minors. We hope you will consider this law of the repablic before to proceed. Thank you. " |

Message | Beniamino Massa, Leader of AI Article 1 is questionable, and can be debated, Articles 2, 3, and 4 are fine, 2 is shaky but ok, we fully support 4, however Article 5 completely contradicts our principles, and as the bill will not be passed before the elections, we will not support it in its current state. However as I said, only articles 1 and 5 are real problems." |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
Random quote: "The communist revolution is the most radical rupture with traditional property relations; no wonder that its development involves the most radical rupture with traditional ideas." - Karl Marx |
