Bill: RP: Economic and Military Update
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4227
Description[?]:
Members of Congress, It is with great pleasure that I share with you the latest rankings as outlined in the Terran Economic and Military Power Lists, produced by the well-respected Zardic Institute of International Relations (OOC: The Mods and the Global RP team). http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7366 You will see that Baltusia now has a "strong" economy in relation to other international nations and, as some of you are already aware, we are now rated as a regional military power. Both these ratings have increased dramatically over the last few decades (we were 'weak' economically and 'average' militarily) and have seen our nation develop from a backwater state on the continent of Seleya - in the shadow of our neighbour Kalistan and former imperial masters in Indrala - to their equal in terms of status. I thank all members of this House who have played a part in the economic and military development of our nation over the years and commend the findings of the Zardic Institute to you. Richard Hurt Foreign Secretary (OOC: Guys, based on this, after the next election I will propose a vote to see if all players in Baltusia want to sign up to the Global RP Accord, which takes these figures into account in developing RP threads. See Reddy's message on national bulletin board for more details. Thanks!). |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
