Bill: Fair Tax Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialists & Democrats of Beluzia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4228

Description[?]:

With this bill we propose a taxation over the for-profit religious activities, currently under tax exemption. This situation is a great danger to non religious business, who pay taxes and suffer from this unfair competition.

Requiring religious to pay taxes would not endanger their free expression, nor is our objective to endanger it. In fact charitable donations are not included in this bill.

MessageThe Libertarian-Reform Party will abstain, as while it would much more fair to have religious institutions taxed, we should instead be working on lowering taxes (which in many ways are theft) instead of putting them onto more people
