Bill: Nomination for Supremum Iudicatorium
Details
Submitted by[?]: Clara Aurora - COSIRA
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 4230
Description[?]:
As Minister of Justice, and in demand of the lack of responsibility of previous Governments, cutting our democratic pillars by not replacing judges in our highest court, I nominate for the position of Iudex in the Supremum Iudicatorium Seleuciae: Cyamus Mathesius, progressist judge. Defensor of immigrants and oppresed groups, for his long time in the Korgana courts where he is seen as the most neutral and serious when taking a decision. A patriot, but that does not mean he has to ban everyone coming to our nation, but instead guaranteeing our nation is an example to the world. Philocrates Ramirus, Minister of Justice |

Message | We would query if the learned magister Mathesius views oppressed groups as including those with religious views, specifically where they are held in a minority? - Marcus Cassius Sophus, Fraternitas Senator |

Message | Magister Mathesius will stand against any form of discrimination, being it because of sexual orientation, sex, race, or religion. Mr. Mathesius is an atheist, but he respects any religious view. If a case of religious discrimination is proved, the law will go against those who have tried to affect the oppressed. Philocrates Ramirus. |

Random quote: "The problem is big government. If whoever controls government can impose his way upon you, you have to fight constantly to prevent the control from being harmful. With small, limited government, it doesn't much matter who controls it, because it can't do you much harm." - Harry Browne |
