Bill: Paramilitaries Regulation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hosian Civic Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4250
Description[?]:
Paramilitaries are now a legal part of every party. We propose to keep them legal but very heavily regulated. Under my current proposals (open to negotiations of course): - Paramilitaries and their leadership must be publicly declared (and posted on the Paramilitaries thread). - Paramilitaries cannot exceed 5,000 active personnel. - Only one paramilitary per party. - No chemical, biological or nuclear weapons to be possessed or used. - Only light artillery. - Maximum displacement of sea going vessels: 0.7 (an average yacht). - Maximum combat aircraft 20 and no jets. - Provision for an independent commission to inspect the activities of the groups at any time. - The combined number of paramilitary soldiers must not exceed 50% of that of the regular armed forces. Any extra regulations welcomed. |

Message | Our hope is that the paramilitaries (and the army) can be used for dispatching real enemies of the nation not just those with opposing opinions. OOC: That sounds so liberal I feel faint ;) |

Date | 16:15:36, July 31, 2017 CET | From | Hosian Civic Union | To | Debating the Paramilitaries Regulation Act |
Message | Paramilitaries are now completely legal. Those who are anti-paramilitary should vote in favour of this bill because it limits their activities a lot. |
