Bill: Protect the symbol of our nation!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti d'Aube Dorée

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4230

Description[?]:

Our flag is the symbol of our nation and culture. It represents who we are and what we stand for as a nation. It is truly disgraceful our flag is being burned on the streets by some far-right activist groups who disagree with the left cabinet's laws. To prevent our symbol from being used as a political tool, we must make sure it can not be desecrated or used for commercial use.

MessageI would have sworn that far right activists would actually be supportive of this bill because of their nationalistic approach. Whilst we disagree with them, this bill is aimed at preventing the wrong people.

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
