| With the HDU hell-bent on crippling the working and middle classes with higher taxes, we have instead proposed a fairer and more reasonable budget proposal in our opinion. We have not made the same harsh cuts to ministries like the HDU have done, we have also increased spending for our most important industries, and instead of taxing essential goods, we have decided it is far fairer to tax corporations, and add a very small amount of tax onto luxury goods. This will be able to accommodate our needs for this budget, without harsh tax rises for the poorest in our society. We hope the Federal Assembly shall see sense and back our bill. |
