Bill: Restoration and Preservation of Hosian Values Act 4230
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriotic Party of Baltusia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4230
Description[?]:
Fellow members of Congress, I wish you to consider long and hard the following proposal, which is to re-instate Luthorian Communion Hosianism (OOC: Anglican Christianity) as our state religion. It will preserve our culture, our history, our moral fibre as a country and reinforce our code of laws, which is based on the teachings of the good book. In addition, in a bid to preserve our culture we propose a tightening of laws surrounding foreign missionaries - many of whom are using our slack laws as a loophole to come here and preach in unorthodox ways, spread hate speech or anti-hosian doctrine. We have laws banning cults and the like setting up in this country, we should have the same kind of laws to ensure so-called missionaries are not entering our country and promoting instability. Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
