| The Trigunskaya Imperatorskaya Partiya propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Тригунская Империя (Trigunian Empire). Year 3 Proposals: 1. Took into account the fall in revenue from the drop in corporate taxes. Gradual shift of the budget away from services of the central government and toward the Federal Subjects. This should be the final year of tax reduction until GDP rises. (Which it has! Started at ℜ308 billion and is now ℜ321 billion!) 2. Investment/upgrades to Infrastructure and Transport (railroads and merchant marine) remains at 80% of proposed investment over three years. Lack of tax revenue has hampered investment. 3. Investment/upgrades to Science & Technology (research, development, efficiency) of +ℜ1,000,000,000 (This is 100% of proposed investment over three years) 4. Industrial Boards have spent a year looking to the large- and medium-sized industries to determine the changes that will need to be made for these companies and corporations to better compete in Terra. The Industrial Board president Minister Kuril Stepashin, 54th Count of Bordna, has recommended some drastic changes. However, the drop in revenue has led to a budget cut and only a certain number of reforms will be financed through Government grants and subsidies. |
