| The House of Romanov is, unfortunately, a real name of a real monarchical dynasty and I for one do not appreciate the lack of creativity plus the baggage that goes with the name. (Also, is it against Protocols to use real names of monarchs?) I would like to propose that we change the last name of the House of Romanov. Nothing else would change except the last name; we would simply carry on as though nothing has happened and the monarch always had this name. Titles, dates, people, first names, etc. would remain the same. Feel free to propose a new last names (plural!) - I'm looking through this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_surnames_in_Russia - below. I will be more than happy to build a Wiki page for this monarch, fill in much of their beliefs, education, background, etc. Then, I would like to propose that there be a new, young, monarch that we can use in RP to start things off fresh ... and hopefully get more involved with things. Currently, Maria is 68 (as of this post), what do we say to making Maria's child, brother, or relative the new monarch? (Personally, I'm partial to another female.) Thoughts of the community? |

| Message | Firstly, I would like to point out that no-one from moderation has said anything about the fact that the monarchs' house is the House of Romanov, so I continued to use it, and I have not used the real names of monarchs, as all my monarch names so far (Vladimir Fyodorovich, Kirill Vladimirovich, Nikolay Kirillovich and Maria Nikolaevna) have never been names for real-life monarchs and their photos do not match the members of the Romanov family that their name is (except Kirill Vladimirovch, but that was a coincidence). If moderation does not mind, I will continue to use this name, however, if they complain, I will probably change it to Nikolaev or Dragunov (those are two options I have at the current moment). If anyone suggests more names, I could take one of them into consideration ;-P |

Also, I was just asking the question. "and I have not used the real names of monarchs, as all my monarch names so far" No one was accusing you. This is what was meant when I said that nothing but their last name and the name of the dynasty would change. "I will probably change it to Nikolaev or Dragunov" I think you meant to say "WE will ..." - this is not your personal play thing. While you can point out things about me and what I have been trying to do, I have brought EVERY single change up for debate or has been passed by legislation. I have at least let you guys discuss subjects. YOU have no RIGHT to entirely control the monarch we all share, instead, it is a collaborative effort. So, you have no willingness to make the name unique and not tied to real life historical monarchs without getting the Moderation involved? It would take 5 minutes to change them.
