Message | Mr. Speaker Why ban private post services? It's possible for the government to create Hutori Post without completely cutting out the highly capable and effective private postal companies. If this is purely about government revenue then this is just another example of government greed and overreach. Mitchell Court Conservative Senate Leader Senator for Sutton |
Date | 17:20:37, June 29, 2017 CET | From | Federal Heritage Party of Hutori | To | Debating the Bill NP-89: Nationalisation of post office agency |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The fact of the matter is that private post agencies are more efficient than anything the government can achieve. Also monopolies are NEVER good even or perhaps especially when they are controlled by the government. They lead to inflated prices, reduced quality of service, lower employment rates and lower overall economic growth. Let's not green light government intrusion into private industry. Senator Wyatt McLaughlin (F-AD) Federalist Senate Leader Leader of the Opposition |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
