| OOC: This is the correct version of the budget bill. Niccolò de Medici, Minister of Finance: "Hon. Colleagues, I am proposing here a new budget bill. In this bill I am balancing how we will spend the money that we will earn through the increase of the luxury goods tax sales. The income of this tax will increase from 27 billions to 40.5 billions. Of these 13.5 billions we will be adding 8 to Health and Social Services, following the nationalisation of healthcare. Another 5 will be used for infrastructure. These are mainly to allow the spending for the FIFA world cup that we will be holding in our nation. The new parliament building will be built using these funds as well. Thanks for your attention." |
