Bill: Government Expenditure Act 4234

Details

Submitted by[?]: Unity Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4235

Description[?]:

The Unity Labour Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Free State of Malivia.

As Minister of Finance, I am directed by the laws of Malivia under Minister of Finance Amendment Act Section 3- The Minister of Finance shall upon his appointment, propose a budget no longer than 6 months upon tenure of his office.

Subsection A- The Minister of Finance must propose a budget for every fiscal year. Fiscal year meaning, every year starting in January and ending December

This bill sees the massive increase spending in education, Tourism , Infrastructure , Internal Affairs and Infrastructure. All this is geared towards the implementation of government mandate for this term in ensuring economic growth but has seen a decline in government expenditure to ensure fiscal prudence and enterprise.

Mr Speaker, I would also want to highlight that there has been as increase for the salary of the head of government. Mr Speaker over the many years, salaries have been increased in this country save and except for that of the Prime Minister who ,ever since I formed the ULP, has been receiving 100k for a salary while inflation and other salaries has increased tremendously over the years.

I do hope this parliament can support this bill in the interest of all Malivians. Additionally this bill will see a new University built at cost of 3 billion dollars.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
