Bill: Paramilitaries Reestablishment
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party of Kalistan (SPoK)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4238
Description[?]:
In light of our agreement to participate in mock wargames with the People's Army Social Club, we repropose this bill: According to The Kalistani Rule on Party Militias, (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=241823) all Parties are entitled to maintain a militia. This institution is thousands of years old and has formed a key component of the Kalistani Military for that long. Therefore, the recent abolition of Militias was in error. We hereby call for all Kalistani Patriots to restore militias as a key component of of National Defense Force. In the meanwhile, the RSMoK-VSC shall remain in the field, to defend the rights of the People of Kalistan as the current Government attempts to dismantle Kalistan's institutions and establish a police state. |

Message | We will not be replacing any part of our armed forces with paramilitary groups. We will concede to allowing the groups to exist, but we will not allow them to dictate national military policy. In light of this bill being exactly the same as the last without changing the outlying provision that we fundamentally disagree with, we must vehemently oppose. |

Random quote: "I worked at a factory owned by Germans, at coal pits owned by Frenchmen, and at a chemical plant owned by Belgians. There I discovered something about capitalists. They are all alike, whatever the nationality. All they wanted from me was the most work for the least money that kept me alive. So I became a communist." - Nikita Khrushchev |
