Bill: Freedom of Conscience Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian-Socialist Coalition
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2188
Description[?]:
Though the LSP never condones flag burning, we support the individual's right to use flag burning as a form of protest protected by freedom of speech. A mark of a truly advanced, free society is the ability to cope with and even allow unpopular forms of dissent. Put into perspective - if we will allow our citizens to crossdress, drink at any age, and take any drugs they wish, there is no reason that flag burning should be banned. |
