MessageOOC: Really?

This law would make recreational drugs illegal.
The current law is that they are only sold by heavily-regulated corporations.

Uh but yes recreational drugs like cannabis and it seems also hard drugs in this law are currently legal for heavily regulated corporations and would become illegal if this passes

Once again the conservatives betray their small government ideals by using the power of the government to clamp down on any freedom they can find. Regulations are not enough for them only wide reaching bans are.

MessageAgain, Mr Weingartner,

The KUP are authoritarian conservatives, you are libertarian conservatives. You must be a very dim spark.

MessageMs Von Rhee

Your opinion is noted. In social issues that strand of conservatism is generally very authoritarian. However this issue appears to be more economic due to the involvement of private companies in the production of drugs creating profit and jobs for our economy. Considering the already heavy regulation it seems illogical to push for an outright ban. Could this be argued as a social issue? Absolutely. But due to its mixed nature we believe that the current stance on sales would be good enough and would be the natural conclusion of a traditional conservative party.

MessageRegulated official markets are better than unregulated black markets when it comes to drugs like cannabis, though we still support a full ban on more dangerous substances.
