Bill: Bill NLA-59 For Better Quality Prescription Drugs
Details
Submitted by[?]: Progressive Democratic Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2188
Description[?]:
We do realize the ideal of completely free healthcare to be a true and noble one though if we are to provide better quality prescription drugs to the people of this nation, we should stop spending badly-needed funds for paying for those who have a high class income to receive free prescription drugs when they will most likely just buy better quality than the government can provide. The truth of the matter is that if we attempt to provide free drugs to all people, it will be of cheaper quality so as to avoid entering a deficit (especially with our tax system). If we concentrate instead on spending a far larger share of those funds on the low to medium income bracket and even for the homeless and downtrodden, we can provide top quality prescription drugs without straining the government to pay for the rich. So, in the end, this way will lead to both the poor and the rich enjoying an equal quality of prescription drugs and medicine. |

Message | This is an attempt by the Neo-Liberal Alliance to hurt off those who are worse off by making sure they have low quality drugs, with the state going for the cheapest drugs that are around, instead of every having free and decent quality of drugs,, this is again the sign of the gorwing Toryism and Neo-Liberalism in the Neo-Liberal Alliance and there secert adgenda to cut taxes and public services |

Message | Are you an idiot? If we have to provide free drugs for the rich, the budget will be too stretched out and the government would opt for cheap and terrible drugs. The rich wouldn't use the free drugs anyway and buy their own while the poor suffer because the government will only give them below average quality drugs. If we just provide drugs only to the poor, we can afford to buy the best quality drugs for the poor so they will be on par with the rich who will have to pay for the same quality drugs. But we can see the hypocritical SDPers (I'm not even going to give you the dignity of calling you social democrat) just want the poor to continue to suffer while the rich enjoy the high life at the government's expense. |
