Bill: Religious Schools Bill 4239

Details

Submitted by[?]: Fortschrittlich Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 4240

Description[?]:

Any religion should be allowed to have schools. It is up to the people, not the government, to decide which religions have sucessful schools. Regulations will still be in place to ensure that all religious schools meet national standards. If a school is meeting these standards, it should not matter which religion it has.

MessageMembers of the Chamber,

This law is designed to stop cults from starting schools. Name me one unrecognized religion you want to be able to set up a school. All real religions are recognized, others are in fact cults. I don't want my children going to a school founded by a cult.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
