Description[?]:
In accordance with section 7 of the Game Rules (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8088&p=145763#p145764), Luthori is a "culturally protected" country. Below is the cultural protocol which all players in the country must abide. Throughout the document, the real-life equivalent is shown in brackets next to the in-game name. --OVERVIEW-- Luthori is based primarily on real-life Victorian England, with certain distinctive features. Like England the country has traditionally been staunchly monarchist, ruled by the House of Adlerberg-Villayn for many centuries. In the past, Luthori controlled a vast colonial empire throughout Dovani, Temania and Vascania. In the modern day, all of the former colonies have achieved independence and self-government though some retain ties to the country. --ETHNICITY-- Luthori is dominated by ethnic Luthorian (English) people, however there are various minority groups primarily from neighbouring countries and Luthori's former colonies. » Luthorian (English)- 82% -- White Luthorian (White English)- 74% -- Luthorian Rajutti (English South Asian)- 4% -- Luthorian Kazulian (based on Swedish and north German nobility)- 4% » Yeudi (Jewish)- 4.5% » Husltrian (Austrian)- 4.5% » Ibutho (Zulu)- 4% » Majatran (Arab)- 2% » Canrillaise (French)- 2% » Hobrazian (Georgian)- 1% --RELIGION-- The dominant religion is Hosianism (Christianity). Within this the most significant dominantion is the Holy Luthori Church (Church of England) within which there are various different branches adopting conservative, liberal and evangelical positions. For significant period of the country's history the Holy Luthori Church has been the official state religion and for this reason, a certain portion of the population who describe themselves as Hosian are not practicising. » Hosianism (Christianity)- 84% -- Holy Luthori Church (Church of England)- 80% -- Traditionalist Lutheran Church (Protestant)- 3% -- Hobrazian Orthodox Church (Georgian Orthodox Church)- 1% » None- 8% » Yeudism (Judaism)- 1% » Other- 7% --LANGUAGE-- The dominant language in Luthori is Luthorian (English) and it is spoken by almost the entire population. A small portion of the population speak Canrillaise (French) or Dundorfian (German). --INFORMATION/TOOLS-- Google translate: https://translate.google.co.uk/ Naming generators: http://www.behindthename.com/random/ http://fantasynamegenerators.com/#realNames Game Rules: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8088#p137060 Cultural Protocols Index: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6365 Particracy forum: http://forum.particracy.net/ |

Message | OOC: For future reference, this is an old cultural protocol that was originally passed in 2020. This version of the bill was in the debate section and should have been deleted. It was superseded by this cultural protocol update: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=689879 |
