Message | This issue is a dead horse. We must provide for a means by which to live, or there will never be that opportunity. If individuals save up for retirement on their own, with no safeguards from "borrowing" from that fund, then that savings account will be the first target when individuals or families fall on hard times. This bill is irresponsible and loveless. |

Message | I truly understand your viewpoints on this. I really do. However, your party has been active in a variety of legislative actions, such as free public transport, which, whilst sounding wonderful, are totally unworkable considering the current state of the national budget. If we continue on this path then we as a nation will be bankrupt before we have even really found our footing. |

Message | We must help people plan and organise effectively so that they can live comfortably after retirement. It is an easily attainable goal. Do not be so quick to dismiss the ability of our people. If people plan properly, then there will be no trouble when tougher times occur. |

Message | We are not underestimating the power of the people, merely recognising how human it truly is to break into a private savings account in order to make sure one eats for another month. Some people cannot provide for themselves in entirety, and most people cannot provide for themselves in some way. It all starts with security. Job security, life security, health security, education security, and retirement security. If we have a net with which to catch people who have fallen, is society not a better place? |
