Bill: Fair Number of Regional Seats Act

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Description[?]:
It is unfair that the method used to determine the number of seats each region receives in the national legislature is an unfair proportional algorithm that gives a very small advantage to larger regions, which is not fair, as it gives the residents of the smaller regions less of a voice and less representation compared to the larger regions. |

Message | This would give unfair representation to less populated regions, while lowering the deserved representation of higher populated regions. We therefore must vote no. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
