MessageAbortion, for example, must be legalized at the national level. Leaving abortion up to local governments will allow local officials to take that freedom from those who wish, or medically need to obtain an abortion. All in the name of religious prejudices. Hypothetically our citizens daughters, nieces, grandmothers, and sisters could die, if a local politician does not fund abortion.
