| Message | Democracy is not fair, democracy is majority rule. And we are not a democracy we are a republic it is stated so in our name. The Federal Republic of Likatonia. It is contrary to all political common sense that the seats in the legislative body could be divided in 2 equally large blocks. Because it would cause a deadlock between the two different blocks in congress and then absolutely nothing could be passed. Is that the People's Socialist Party of Likatonias version of democracy, rasing the number of seats simply because they want it to look like they gained seats. 9 years ago we raised the number of seats from 265 to the current 315. And as you can se you can not divide 315 into 2 equal blocks. I wasn't dumb enough to allow deadlocks in my proposal. Thats why i urge Congress to vote no on this idiotic proposal. |

| Message | I don't really see a need for additional seats at the current moment. But how about every 10 years we hold a national census on the population. To messure the need for the expansion or recession of congressional seats. And when proposed it shall be called the Redistribution of Congressional Seats Act of (insert year). So the next census will be in april 4250. And when ever changes are made to the seats in congress. It has to be an un even number. |
