Silvano Rogi, Whip of LP: "It is time to adjust the current laws on Justice about the DNA and the prisoners! Such a intromission into the privacy of the people could not continue! Conseguences should arrive only if an accused is judged as convicted. But also if convicted, they remain human beings and they have all the right to vote also in prison, given the fact that the right of vote have nothing to do with the acts committed by the prisoners (and maybe their acts are pushed by deficency of the State and the political forces to fight social degradation, create opportunity and so avoid that people fall in the criminality. Thank you" |

Message | Beniamino Massa, AI Leader, We wholeheartedly disagree as criminals have lost their priveleges after they betrayed the nation. Furthermore they will probably vote for people, who will be softer to them and obstruct necessary justice. Especially criminals charged with corruption, they will keep voting in other corrupt members of society. Furthermore, in regards to the DNA, I personally believe that we should record everyone, my party colleagues disagree with me and that is their right, but accused should be recorded for the reason that should they try to flee, it will be much easier to locate them. To deliver justice, which the tax payer pays us to do. |

Message | Michele Serra, "Istalia is a free, democratic country, and Istalian all citizens have their right to vote and the right to personal privacy. Only by revoking the citizenship we could stop criminals from voting, and that is just unimaginable. Furthermore, something as private as thier own DNA should not be recorded unless proven guilty. This kind of personal invasion is against the Istalian democratic values." |
