Bill: Privatisation des transports
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti libéral de bon sens
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4244
Description[?]:
The time has come for the state to sell the aviation and rail assets to private contractors. This will generate a large amount of money that we can spend in healthcare and education. It will also see governmental expenditure decline and therefore the deficit will shrink. This is the only way to control the economic future of Alduria, we cannot afford inefficiency in the economy. Amendments will always be considered. |

Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | This bill is a complete disgrace and will create massive room for accidents, exploitation of workers and misery that is completely unneeded. When this government loses their majority, the FG will remember what monstrous legislation the PLBS has proposed. |
Date | 16:42:06, July 19, 2017 CET | From | Parti libéral de bon sens | To | Debating the Privatisation des transports |
Message | The FG should be aware that regulations on private companies will be strict in order to prevent the abuses that it states above. The PLBS legacy will be the removal of barriers that prevent employment and trade, a increasing GDP and decreasing deficit. |

Message | We are into privatizing part of the transpo network. However, we would prefer a more gradual one, and maintaining ViAldurie as our national train operator, since the total privatization of railroads will leave small communities, like Saint-Haycinte-sur-Zanyal, my hometown (1630 inhabitants) isolated from the rest of the country. |

Message | Ok, we will make an amendment and remove article 4 on the TOC's. We will see how successful this process is for aviation and public transport and then come back to the issue of rail ownership in the next parliament. Thanks PLBS |
Date | 22:12:57, July 19, 2017 CET | From | Front Gauche (FG) | To | Debating the Privatisation des transports |
Message | No matter how strictly you regulate the private sector, profit is always their motive, and as such there is always much more room for abuse than with state control. |

Message | That's a very pessimistic view on society by the FG |
Date | 13:35:49, July 20, 2017 CET | From | Bloc Aldurien | To | Debating the Privatisation des transports |
Message | We will now support this Law, even though we will present a motion to make the government force private builders to construct, if necessary and in a case-by-case basis, roads and airports in less-developed communities. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
